FAWE Primary School:

Located in Kroo Bay, FAWE Primary School retains seven teachers, two assistants, and one headmistress. Approximately 350 students between ages 6-12 are actively enrolled.

Additionally, the school claims that nearly 0 percent of all students in attendance pass their national exams before graduating to secondary school.

The school often needs basic school supplies and uniforms and help in funding a lunch program for students. The staff also asks for funding their salaries.

Youth Action International's Center for Women:

Located outside Kroo Bay, the Center for Women retains eight staff members, including instructors, assistants, and one director. Approximately 150 women, many from Kroo Bay, enroll in the program to learn computer literacy and marketable skills like hair-dressing and sewing.

The Center for Women often asks for help acquiring new sewing material, sewing machines and other basic supplies. Instructors seek help in funding their salaries.

YMAC Freetown:

Located outside Kroo Bay, the YMCA offers a number of services to Sierra Leoneans and the Kroo Bay community. The YMCA is a relatively new partner, through which the Kroo Bay Initiative recently financed microloans for an initial pool of seven female entrepreneurs and one businessman.

Like the Center for Women, the YMCA is under significant financial duress.
